My heart goes out to the Desmangles family. Mr. Desmangles was a great and kind man and I will cherish the memories of spending time at his home in my youth.

Uncle Roy was a self made man and understood how one could profit from hard work. I share in the Family's pain and grief. Those of us who were blessed to be a part of this Family over the years have wonderful memories. His place in N Highlands history and in the after life is now assured. Auntie Anne and Uncle Roy forever !

Papa Roy Desmangles was a guiding light throughout my childhood . His gentle spirit reached out in the most sincere and loving way to parents and children alike. God bless the entire Desmangles familia. I join you in your grief and sorrow. I give thanks to God for the gift of the life of Roy O. Desmangles, Rest In Peace sweet soul in the mighty arms of our dear Lord.

Roy was my neighbor for over 60 years and he and Annie were always there when anyone needed anything. Our sons grew up together and even though we didn't see each other daily, when we did it was like we saw each other all the time - they were always there with a hug and a great word - we will all miss Roy, but he's now with Annie and is happy. Uncle Roy was a amazing and loving uncle. One of my fond memory of him when I asked about his thumb and how it use to scare me when I shook his hand as a youth. He was always cool and shared his wisdom any and every chance he had. I also remember him and gramps singing together at our annual cousins get together in their native language, that's when I realized our family was special and I was proud to be a Desmangles. Rest in Paradise.
