Roy R. Fozo

Roy R. Fozo, 91, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on September 26, 2022, after an arduous and courageous battle with dementia. Roy was born in South Bend, Indiana on May 9, 1931, to Steven and Gladys (Wartha) Fozo. He attended South Bend Riley High School.
On December 8, 1950, Roy married Jeannette Gerard. They made their home in Mishawaka, Indiana and raised two children, Karen (Steven) Cripe and Kenneth (Lori) Fozo.
After Jeannette's death, Roy married Joan Hall on February 23, 1989.
Roy had a strong work ethic, serving AM General for 33 years. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church in South Bend.
Roy is survived by his children, Karen and Kenneth; his stepchildren Denise (Dennis) Cochran and Kurt Hall; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Back in the day, Roy enjoyed bowling, playing poker with his buddies, and planning fun family parties.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Briarcliff Health and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care, as well as the excellent care Roy received at Morningview Assisted Living.
Visitation will be 12:30 pm-1:30 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Service will begin at 1:30 pm with burial to follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
