Roy Jacob Fralick, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 1, 2026, after an extended illness at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida. Roy was born on November 14, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Wesley Carl and Leona Rose Fralick.

Roy proudly served his country, retiring as a Petty Officer First Class after 22.5 years in the United States Navy. His commitment to service was a testament to his character and dedication to duty. A proud Mason at the Lake Butler Lodge, he embraced the values of fellowship and community, sharing his time and spirit with those around him.

Roy was known for his great sense of humor, often delighting in telling and hearing jokes. His infectious laughter and jovial nature brought joy to many, and his favorite saying, "Life's a picnic & everyday is a holiday," was a reflection of his optimistic view on life. He cherished the simple pleasures, particularly his love for fishing which offered him tranquility and happiness. He was a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Mary Fralick; his children, Roy E. Fralick, Maxine Pogue, Donna (Keith) Miller, and Robert (Larissa) Fralick; son-in-law Alan Bannister; grandchildren, Tracy Fralick, Patrick (Karen) Bannister, Heather Galvin, Jessica Galvin, Drs. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Leona Fralick; his first wife Nicki Fralick, his daughter, Faith Bannister; his granddaughter, Christina Bannister; and his brother, Carlos Fralick.

As we remember Roy, we celebrate a life fully lived, filled with love, humor, and a commitment to family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and the cherished memories of his time spent with those he loved.

A Celebration of Roy's Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Lake Butler at 11am.
