My condolences to the Goddard family. I met Mr. Goddard back in 2021 at the pond. We had a lot of conversations. I did a lot of fishing in that pond. It was always a welcome sight to see him come driving up. I was very saddened when Ms. Helen passed. I did not see him for a while, but I saw him sitting in the yard one day. I had to turn the car around to go back and speak to him. I was ecstatic to see him. At over 100 years old he could not call my name but knew who I was. I told him that I had never shaken the hand of someone over 100 years old. He replied "shake it again and I did more than once. I am a historian. He told me a lot about the area. I truly enjoyed him. He will be missed. May God rest his soul.

So sorry with the loss of your dad, of course he was my favorite Uncle and the only one for so many years. I always enjoyed going for visits and bringing back memories of the good times all of us grandchildren use to have when growing up and all coming together at our Grandparents home. He had a long great life . My love and thoughts are with all of you. Martha Mann
