Mr. Roy Hadden entered into peaceful rest, on October 1, 2025, at his home in Brunswick, GA.

He was a lifelong resident of Emanuel County. He was born to the late Edd Hadden and Rosa Lee Bennett in Herndon.

He was a retired iron worker. He was known to family and friends to be able to build or fix anything he set his mind to, he enjoyed the challenge. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing, especially at the Ogeechee River.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hopkins-Hadden, his sisters, Ora Lee Bennett Odom, Julia Bennett Goatly, and Martha "Polly" Hadden Wilcher, and a brother, Andrew Bennett.

Survivors include his son, Keith (Julie) Hopkins of Brunswick, GA, his grandchildren, Austin (Brittany) Saathoff of Blue Springs, MO, Ryan (Robyn) Brown of Augusta, Steven Brown of Germany, Johnwayne Felix of Kansas City, KS, Kate-Lynn Brown of Germany, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Durden Hudson Funeral Directors from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
