Roy Lee (Buckshot) Heidel was born March 11, 1949. He passed away on March 5, 2026 at his home.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Edna Heidel; daughter Wendy Smith and granddaughter Felicia Williams; brother Ray Heidel and sister-in-law Nikki Heidel; sister Helen Basler and brother-in-law Donald Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Patricia; sons Wesley (Cindy) Heidel, Roy Lee Jr., and Brandon Heidel; son-in-law Eric Smith; grandchildren Kanisha Huston, Sydney Heidel, Jacob Heidel, and Peyton Williams and Lydia Smith; great grandson Ayden Carroll; brother Rex (Rita) Heidel and brother-in-law Clarence Basler and a host of nieces, nephews and extended friends and family.
He will be remembered always as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose kindness, quiet strength, and steadfast love touched everyone who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, the legacy he leaves behind lives on in the hearts of his family and all who were blessed to share in his life. We take comfort in the memories we hold dear and in knowing that his love will continue to guide us. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
