My condolences to the TRANTHAM family I used to watch him Roy and Bob Presley Duel it out at Harris Speedway he was Great Driver he will be missed.

Such a nice man who will be missed. Prayers go out for the family.

I am sorry for your loss. I used to go by his shop on druid drive in Asheville in 66,67, and 68 and look at his cars. and take some pictures

I tried to not bother him too bad but he was always good to me and would talk with me even though he was busy.

Lucia, I can't express to you how much you, Roy, Shelley, and Han mean to me. I'm so saddened by the passing of Roy. Words are hard to come by. I wish I could be there today with you all. But I will visit in the near future. You are on my heart and in my prayers. Love and hugs!

I only knew Roy from our passion of flying model aircraft and I will miss talking to him at these events. My thoughts and prayers to Roy's family.

Regina and Roy Jr, I am so sorry about this loss. As hard as it is, it's nice that you had the years that God blessed you with this man. Prayers for peace for all of you and the family. I will always treasure my trip to St. Croix because of him making it possible. Love you.

I always remember when Roy started flying. I had the pleasure of certificating and issue all of his pilot licenses flying was his passion may he rest in peace. With deepest sympathy! Tuddy and Bill Bohlke and the entire Bohlke staff.

There is a special place reserved for Roy in my book of memories. Our racing days in the Asheville area. The times spent preparing our cars for the next big race. His generosity to me during times of need. My prayers to Lucia and family.

Roy was one of the most kind, generous, knowledgeable and gifted souls that I've ever known. He treated everyone with grace and respect. For me, Roy was a wise councilor on many aspects of life, and he was a true and most valued friend. I will miss him dearly, but I find solace in the fact that he is now with the Father and I will see him again in heaven.
