Roy Wiggins. Sr. Obituary
Roy Thomas Wiggins, 68 of Elm City, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Visitation will be at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy, Wilson, on Thursday, August 28, from 5-5:45pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 6:00pm, with Bro. Greg Stancil officiating.
Mr. Wiggins is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Ellen “Faye” Wiggins; son, Roy Thomas “Tommy” Wiggins, Jr., and his wife Carrie; daughter-in-law, Catarina Wiggins Jones, and her husband Chris; father, John William Wiggins, and his wife Becky; brothers, Johnny Wiggins, and his wife Doris, and Robert Blake Wiggins, and his wife Leah; sister, Billie Jean Wiggins Brown; stepsister, Connie Frazier, and her husband Jack; grandchildren, Meghan Wiggins, Brandon Wiggins, Kaycee Wiggins, , Jonathan Wiggins, and Hayleigh Poythress; and seven great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, SGT James William Wiggins; mother, Betty Jean Wiggins; brother-in-law, Tim Brown; and step-brother, Jeff Barnes.
