Dear Loraine, I just now (Sunday night) learned of Roy's death and am deeply sorrowful for you and his church family at Gordonsville Baptist. Roy was on the committee that recommended me to be their pastor in 1981, and I and my family have counted Roy among our most cherished friends through these years. I was privileged to have had a part in uniting you two in marriage; that was a special day! We will keep you in our prayers even as we thank God for Roy's life! God bless, Bob Lewis

Loraine, Janice and Mike. I'm so sorry for your loss. Roy was such a sweet man and had such a wonderful personality. I could see it the first time I saw him smile. I know you are thankful to have had him in your life for seventeen years. My prayers are with you.
