Royce L. Cherry, age 85 of the Mt. Vernon Community in Clay County, TN passed away Sunday morning, September 28, 2025 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, TN. Royce is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Royce L. Cherry will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, September 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Rick Mosley officiating. Interment will follow in the Browning Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
Family requests memorials be made assist the family with funeral expenses or Browning Cemetery. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by: parents, Brandford “Sot” & Brillia (Rush) Cherry; sister, Wandie Waterman; brother, Mack “Vancel” Cherry.
Survivors include: daughter, Donna Pawlowski of McHenry, IL; son, Dennis Cherry of the Mt. Vernon Community; 6 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lourenia Davis & husband, Donald Lee of the Leonard Community; Joyce Staffey & husband, Don, Lois Hudson & husband, Ronnie all of Lafayette; brothers, Lennis Cherry, Garnett Cherry & wife, Ruth all of the Mt. Vernon Community.
