Royce Doss Obituary
Royce Elvin Doss, 82, of San Manuel, AZ, passed in his sleep from lung cancer on Monday, March 9th. He was surrounded by his children.
Royce was born in Atlanta, Texas, to Milton and Margaret Doss. He was the second of three children. The family moved to Arizona where he graduated from San Manuel High School in 1962. Royce then spent nearly 40 years climbing from lineman to inspector with Pacific Gas & Electricity before returning to San Manuel to be closer to friends and family.
Royce was preceded in death by his son Robert, his wives Judy and Mary, and both parents. He is survived by his children Alex and Ashley, siblings Gene and Vicki, sister-in-law Diann, as well as his grandchildren and great-grand children.
No memorial is planned at this time, though we know he would appreciate those wishing to honor him doing so by pouring a cup of coffee and enjoying a good western with family.
