Ruben Wayne Allison

Ruben Wayne Allison,76, of Chandler, Texas passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was born in Tyler, Texas on September 8, 1948, to Herbert and Edith Burgess Allison. Ruben graduated from Winona High School in 1967, then enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country! On September 22, 1973, Ruben married the love of his life Marsha Victoria "Vickie" Moye. Ruben was an avid fisherman and loved having fish fry's! He loved watching old western movies, listening to gospel music, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren! He was a truck driver for many years for Central Freight and Walmart. Ruben was the most genuine, gracious, Christian, loving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him so dearly. Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, and his loving wife Vickie Allison. He is survived by his loving family including his children, Julie Consford and husband Jimmy of Kingwood and Chris Allison and wife Stephanie of Cypress; sister, Patsy Tritton of Lakeland, FL; and grandchildren, Alex, Kayla, David, Valeria, William, Trista, and Jacob. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Allison, Steve Taylor, Mike Young, Jimmy Consford, Alex Frosinos, David Allison, Mike Frosinos, William Allison, Johnny Culpepper, and Dan Rayner. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at West Lake Baptist Church in Chandler with Brother Lee Evans officiating, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to service.
