My condolences to the Cuellar family. I worked with Mr. Cuellar back in 1989 at L'escargot restaurant,701 n. Michigan Ave. He was a hard worker and would always made me laugh with his funny stories, some co-workers he had nicknames for that I still remember till this day. After some time in the restaurant (fine dining) business Mr. Cuellar went into business for himself. He was over my house a few times to clean my carpets and he still had that same humor. I remember him telling me about his Ford Model T or vintage Ford and how he was amazed at Henry Ford. Me and my family were sadden to hear of his passing.

One of my fondest memories is of helping my uncle Ruben with his garden. He taught me how to prune rose bushes and always maintained a stunning garden. He also introduced me to figs, and I still cherish the days spent assisting him in caring for his beautiful space. I hope he creates a magnificent garden in heaven, just like the one he nurtured on earth!
