Ruby Jean Bailey

Ruby Jean Bailey-age 82 of Maynardville, born February 15, 1943, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 30, 2025, at her home while surrounded by her family. Ruby was saved at an early age and was a faithful member of Nave Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Taylor and Della (Yadon) Nicely; husband, Buddy Boy Bailey; sons, Buster Bailey, Leon Bailey and Tim Bailey; son-in-law, Larry Savage; great-grandson, Ethan Bailey; brother, L. D. Nicley; sisters, Edna Davis and Diane Williams.

Survived by sons, Joey Bailey and wife, Barb, Tony Bailey and wife, Sarah; daughter, Martha Savage; daughters-in-law, Connie Bailey and Valerie Bailey. 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Brothers, Rev. Leon Nicely, Jackie Nicley. We would like to extend a special thank you to U.T. Hospice Services.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Darrell Williams, Rev. Robie West officiating with music by Holly Hemphill. Interment will follow at Nicely Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Jacob Bailey, Joshua "Tater" Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Skyler Bailey, Dalton Bailey, Joseph Bolden, Tyler Greene. Honorary Pallbearers: Dustin Williams, Oleg Gnatyuk, Hunter Munsey, Riley Munsey, Calvin Greene. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
