Ruby Baker Obituary
She graduated from Fairmont General School of Nursing obtaining her RN. She then worked as a nurse for Owens Illinois, Fairmont General Hospital, St. Barbara's Nursing Home and retired from the Fairmont Clinic.
Ruby loved to read and was a member of the Fairmont Red Hat Society. She most loved her time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy Sinsel and her husband Colin of Masontown; one son Jeffrey Baker and his wife Laura of Fairmont; grandchildren Tyler Vincent, C.J. Sinsel, Nikki Shelley Villers and her husband Jeremy and Justine Shelley and one great grandchild Zoe Riter.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Lee Baker in 2005 and one son Tim "Burrhead" Baker.
Friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home on Friday, February 06, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Zinn officiating. A burial will follow at West Virginia National Cemetery.

Hi Tammy and Jeff, this is rev. Garry{Pete} Hennessey. We were all kids when your mom and dad hang out with our family. Elsie& George, John & Evelyn & HOST OF OTHERS. Sorry for your loss but have fond memories of those days. Am pastor of Beacon Of Hope Bap warren ohio. 50 years coming up Easter2027. Am always looking for the home connections and never forgot you guys. Bless You and praying for you/
