Throughout her life, Ann dedicated herself to serving as a Teacher Assistant, positively impacting the lives of many students. Her kindness and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Ann's family and friends will always remember her loving spirit and gentle nature.
Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Kenneth Bigbie, her parents, and her siblings Melvin Hewitt, Kenneth Hewitt, Edna Harrison, Peggy Kight, and Kathleen Riggs.
She is survived by her cherished sons, Christopher Shaun Bigbie (Monique) and Scott Kenneth Bigbie, her dear sister Faye Hylton, her caring brothers Lankford Hewitt, Lindsey Hewitt, and Winky Hewitt, and her adored grandchildren, Bryant Leary, Justice, Holt, and Landry Bigbie.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church of South Mills, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 with Pastor Darryl Stallings officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or www.stjude.org/donate.

I didn't know Ann well, but met her at a neighborhood cookout ( Scott's neighborhood). She did seem sweet and kind and raised a wonderful son in Scott, our neighbor. May God give peace and comfort to all who knew and loved her.
