Ruby Black Obituary
Ruby Eleanore Black, 82, of Easley, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Thomas and Clovie Pearl Black.
Ruby loved spending time cooking and crafting flower arrangements. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.
Ruby is survived by a daughter, Debra Whitmire of Easley; a sister, Peggy Cooper; grandchildren, Mitchum Spearman (Amber), Brooke Cummings (Steven), Matthew Perkins, Summer Perkins, and Samantha Mayfield (James); great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Perkins, Hunter Alger, Addison Mayfield, Leannah Mayfield, Braylon Mayfield, Peyton Mayfield, Noah Perkins, Riley Morton, Zaiden Ballew, Stephen Spearman, and Kaden Chandler; and great-great grandchildren, Maverick Perkins and Montana Stewart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Perkins; a brother, Gerald Black; and a grandchild, Brandy Perkins.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
