Ruby Dell Bledsoe

Mrs. Ruby Dell Jordan Bledsoe, age 92, of Fleetwood passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Watauga Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 3:45pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fleetwood Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30pm on Sunday, September 24, 2023; prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Bledsoe was born in Ashe County on March 1, 1931 to Sarah Lula Jordan. Ruby's mother passed away three days later and Ruby was raised by her grandmother, Granny Adeline Jordan. She worked for 30 years at Sara Lee Knit Products, as a sewing machine operator. Ruby was a member of New River Calvary Church. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, gardening and reading books. Ruby was such a caring person. She was a loyal friend but most of all a loving mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bledsoe; a son, Larry Bledsoe; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Bledsoe and a son-in-law, Andy Pardue.
Mrs. Bledsoe is survived by: two daughters, Carolyn Bledsoe, of the home and Brenda Pardue of Ronda, NC; five grandsons, Cameron Pardue (Abigail), of Jonesville, NC, Brandon Pardue (Ashley), of Ronda, NC, Nathan Pardue (Renee), of Ronda, NC Philip Bledsoe (Jessica) of Rural Retreat, VA and Jesse Bledsoe (Jessica), of Grassy Creek; eight great-grandchildren, Aubrey Pardue, Caden Pardue, Savannah Pardue, Jade Pardue, Judah Pardue, Ava Pardue, Sadie Pardue and Kiley Bledsoe; two step great-grandchildren, Keaton and Kanyon Todd; a step great, great grandson, Kenton Todd also survive.
