Ruby Burge

Ruby Helen Burge passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026. She was born on October 8, 1943, in Johnson City, NY, to Herbert J. Fritsch and Aleada Hilton Fritsch, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Thomas Burge Sr.; her sister, Sandra Kirk; brother, Herbert Fritsch; and stepsister, Frieda Cotcamp. Ruby worked for many years as a Personnel Director for Endicott Johnson, as well as for Ilford. She is survived by her children, Thomas Burge Jr. (Yvonne) and Tracy Burge; grandchildren, Casey Donholt and Alexis Fisher (Brett); great-grandchildren, Brayden and Aliza; and her best friend, Ermina Weiland, with whom she loved to travel and spend time. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Barber Memorial Home, 428 Main Street, Johnson City, on Monday April 13th at 10am. A service will be held following the visitation at 11am at Barber Memorial Home.
