Ruby Cabrera, age 78, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away in her home surrounded by family on March 3, 2024. Ruby was born on February 9, 1946, to Manuel Cabrera and Delia (Delgado) Cabrera in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Ruby lived a life that reflected her faith. She started her days reflecting in the word with a daily devotional. Her faith was something she was known for. Those needing a prayer, knew they could count on her to lift them up. She was a creative person, creating beautiful pieces of art in stained glass or greeting cards to send to those she knew.
She leaves behind a legacy that will be upheld by her son, Jason Suarez and wife Laticia of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Diana Braden of Salina, Oklahoma, Talia Neilman of Colgate, Oklahoma, and Yvonne Garner of Salina, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Delia Cabrera; son, James Suarez; daughter, Melissa Suarez; and brother Joel Cabrera.
