Ruby Grace Canner

Ruby Grace Glass Polance Canner age 98, passed away in Pendleton, Indiana September 6, 2021.
She was born in Indianapolis May 18, 1923 and raised on a farm in Madison County.
She was predeceased by her parents, Radford Gene Glass and Grace L. Riley Glass and her siblings.
She is survived by generations of nieces and nephews who share fond stories of what a wonderful aunt Ruby was.
Ruby enjoyed life. She traveled extensively. She was a many decade season ticket holder of box seats in turn one of the Indy 500, she enjoyed her work as a personal shopper for Wm. H. Block department store and was active in her faith as a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church having been Baptized January 5, 1936.
Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 with services beginning at 1 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064. Entombment will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery, 2702 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr., Indianapolis, Indiana 46228.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crooked Creek Baptist Church, 5540 N. Michigan Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana 46228.
