Ruby Cobb Obituary
Ruby was born on June 15, 1948, to Donald and Violet Ray in Ray Holler in Dandridge, TN. She was a member of Russellville United Methodist Church.
She had a passion for family genealogy and reaching out to long-lost relatives to help fill in any genealogy blanks. She was a cat lover and adored her four babies, Lucy, Desi, Loretta, and Doolittle.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim Cobb, sister Jean (Carroll) Stallans, brother Joe Ray, and niece Ellen Stallans.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher "Chris" Scruggs and Joseph "Joey" (Ellen) Scruggs, grandchildren, Lindsey (Diego) Scruggs, Campbell Scruggs, and Joella Scruggs, sister, Linda Sue (Bill) Miller, nieces, Donna (Eugene) Barnard and Amanda Donnelly, along with several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Russellville United Methodist Church in Russellville, TN. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 on December 26, 2025, before the service.
