Ruby Collins Obituary
Oleta was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Herbert LeRoy and Alice Evelyn McKibben. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Jimmy Collins, whose steadfast love was a testament to their enduring commitment.
A cherished mother, Oleta leaves behind her children: Ken Collins and his wife Shan, Kathleen Collins, and Susan Cooley and her husband Michael. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life: Loren West and her husband Jordan, James Cooley and his wife Alexandra, McKibben Breton, and her husband Jacob, and Merry Collins.
The light of Oleta's life extended to her great-grandchildren, Emma West, Henry Cooley, Lillian Cooley, and Mavis Breton, each carrying forward a warmth and kindness she embodied. Her love of family extended to her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A private family service to celebrate Oleta's life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, with Minister Craig Kingston and Minister James White officiating. Following the service, Oleta will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In this time of loss, family and friends are invited to reflect on the love and happiness Oleta brought to those around her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
