Ruby Curry Obituary
Ruby was born July 10, 1927, the daughter of the late Dolan and Clemie (Worsham) Burris.
She is survived by her son, George E. Curry (Pam) of London; her daughter, Rosemary Starry (Joel) of Hellertown, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren: Dustin Curry of Portland, Oregon; Brent Curry (Ashlyn) of Little Rock; and Ashley-Rose Starry of Helltertown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, George W. Curry; a sister, Ruth Burris; and two brothers, Troy and Roy Burris.
Ruby was the youngest of four children raised by their parents in the Buttermilk community. She attended Hector High School and Arkansas Tech University. After several years of teaching in Texas and Missouri, she retired from Clever High School in Clever, Missouri, and moved to London, Arkansas, to live by Lake Dardanelle.
