Ruby Amos Daniel

Ruby Jewell Amos Daniel, 80, of Orange, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at the Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

She was born on October 26, 1929, in Woodberry Forest, Virginia, the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Irma Jarrell Amos and wife of the late Willis Booten Daniel. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Edward Amos.

Mrs. Daniel was a member of the Orange Baptist Church and Walker's United Methodist Church and a former employee of Ridgid Kollman in Orange.

Survivors include a daughter, Jewell Daniel Kleman of Fairfax; a son, Edward Willis Daniel and his wife, Daniele, of Orange; grandchildren, Ryan Thomas Kleman and Emily Jewell Kleman, both of Fairfax and Benjamin Willis Daniel of Orange; a special niece, Irma Powell of Orange.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2010, at the Graham Cemetery in Orange with the Reverend Rick Clore officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Preddy Funeral Home in Orange, 250 West Main Street, from 2 until 3 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010.
