Ruby C. Davis November, 8 1931- March 23, 2012 Ruby C. Davis, 80, of Bedford, died at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at IU Health Bedford. Born November 8, 1931 in Richmond, Kentucky, she was the daughter Jerry and Eura (Oller) Cole. She married John W. Davis in 1950; he died February 15, 1960. She was a homemaker and a retired babysitter for over forty years. Surviving are two sons, Roger ( Julie ) Davis of Hinesville, Ga, John ( Cindee) Davis of Bedford; Two daughters, Carolyn ( Richard Box ) Davis of Bedford, Linda ( John ) Stotts of Williams; Two brothers, Hubert ( Joan ) Cole, Herbert ( Ella ) Cole; Four sisters, Lucy Mae Webster, Mary Neal Branum, Lucille Simpson and Elizabeth Moman; Six grandchildren, Matthew Evans, Alecia ( Evans ) Simmerman, Jonathon Evans, Jayden ( Davis ) Wilson, Steven Davis and Chrystal Davis; Several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Two brothers, Harvey Cole and Monroe Cole; One grandson, Kyle Davis; Four brothers – in-law and four sisters –in- law; Two nephews, Rodney Webster and Herbie Cole. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Clarence Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 , from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral expense
