Marjory G. Ballast Of Largo, FL formerly of Illinois and Indianapolis died March 9, 2013 at the age of 80. Marjory was born June 20, 1932 in Indianapolis to Arthur James and Edith (nee Adams) Bicknell. After attending college at Butler University, she spent many years of her career wearing many different hats at Official Ariline Guide in Oak Brook, Illinois. She also spent several years as a realtor. While living in Indianapolis, Marjory attended Northwood Christian Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir, giving to charitable organizations and was an avid cook. As a caregiver who always sacrificed for others, Marjory moved to Florida seven years ago to help care for her sister Doris who preceded her in death in 2010. Marjory is survived by her children Mark (Judy Cassioppi) Ballast and Cindy (Frank) Nadherny; grandchildren Frank (Karly) Nadherny, Jill (Ryan Martinez) Nadherny, Jennifer Nadherny, and Nicholas Cassioppi; great-grandchildren Molly Martinez and Lucas Cassioppi; sister Louise (Arthur) Wilson, and former husband Juergen Ballast. She was preceded in death by her sister Doris Bicknell. Visitation will be held Friday, March 15 from 4 to 8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 16 at Flanner and Buchanan with interment following at Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, Wellesley Hills, MA http://www.curealzfund.org/.
