Ruby Mae Edwards-Smith

Ruby Edwards-Smith, daughter of the late Charles and Ona Mae (Schrader) Edwards was born on October 1, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed her life on Monday, October 28, 2024 at her residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 76 years.
On May 26, 2013 she was united in marriage to Wilburn Leo Smith in Alabama. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2023.
Ruby retired from Good Humor Breyer Ice Cream Plant in Sikeston, Missouri.
Survivors include one son, Mike (Tabatha) Jones of Chaffee; one daughter, Charlene Fitzgerald of Branson, Missouri; three sisters, Virginia Cotner of Jackson; Margie Bartin of Chaffee and Ruby Ann Edwards of Scott City; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and friends.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Fitzgerald and Charles Jones; one brother and one sister.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the Old Salam Cemetery in Millersville, Missouri with Rev. Danny Freeland as officiant. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with services.
