She had a passion for cooking, baking, sewing and crocheting. She was a true "pioneer woman" and was extremely resourceful. She loved to travel. She had a kind heart and was always lending a helping hand to anyone in her community in Littlefield/Amherst in need.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her two sons, Tim Roberts and wife Sandy of Houghton, Louisiana, and Terry Roberts and wife Kelly of Marshall, Texas; a daughter, Dusty Friday Farmer of Bryan, Texas; a stepson, Stacy Friday of Littlefield, Texas; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way; four brothers, Bobby Kittrell, of Granbury, Texas, Gene Kittrell of Littlefield, Texas, Buster Kittrell Jr. of Amherst, Texas, and Kenny Kittrell of Longview, Texas; and a sister, Doris Pierce of Sudan, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrel Friday; and her parents Tip and Gracie Kittrell.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Amherst, Texas. A visitation will be held from 1-5:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 23, 2025, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home.

I loved my mom so much. She loved life. She loved helping others. My mom is going to be missed dearly by everyone who loved her. I know my mom loved me too. She had been sick for a while, she never told anyone or allowed anyone to know exactly how sick she was becoming. God knew. He told her it's time to rest. Now, my mom has a beautiful eternity with Jesus.
