Ruby "Lee" Gamble-Holloman

Ruby Lee Gamble Holloman was born on May 28, 1956 to the late Annie Ruth Gamble and Oscar Gamble in Warick, GA. She attended the local schools in her community and graduated from Worth County High School in Sylvester, GA. In her adult life, she moved to Fort Pierce, FL and was gainfully employed for Saint Lucie County School Board for 20 years. In her spare time, she loved thrifting and yard sales. Ruby had a unique way of expressing herself. She believed in keeping it real.
On July 10, 2023 Ruby quietly departed this life. She was preceded in death by her parents: Annie Ruth Gamble and Oscar Gamble; sisters: Mary Lee Gamble, Barbara Gamble-Ray, Rosie Ann Gamble-King, Catherine Harris-Martin; brothers: John W. Hamilton and Otis C. Gamble.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Gabrielle (Samuel) Holloman, Genetha Harris, Venus (Fitzroy) Holloman, Theotis (Tiesha) Holloman, Shango (Chelsea) Holloman, Shannon Holloman, Edward Harris, Jr.; grandchildren: Darianna, Delilah, Demarion, Derius, Dominic, Dream, Jamar, Jr. Holloman, Jaylen, Kaliya, Khanari, Landon, Mikell, NaKia, Rushya, Shaintecia, Shanya, Skky'lyn, Talia, Tamya, Tamyria, Ta'Neal, Tenaja, Theotis, Torris, Totioyana, Tristen, Violet, Willie, Wyatt; great grandchildren: Aziya, Novahi, Symere; extended children: James (Diane) Edward, Helena Harris, Debra (Frankie) Lott, Willie (Dora) Harris, Maggie Harris, LaDonna Ferguson, Anthony Hudson, Cedric Harris, Courtney Harris, Jessica Harris, Damon(LaTrina)Harris; siblings: Earnestine Rockwell, Johnnie (Jan) Gamble, Shirley Ann Gamble (Ollie) Turner; cousin: Diane Gamble; sisters-in-law: Mattie Jean Harris-Johnson and Rosa Hamilton; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and sorrowing friends who will miss her deeply.
