Ruby Goodman Burr Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Ruby “Ever” Goodman Burr will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Chapel, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Dexter Goynes and assisting, Arick Lassiter. Interment will follow at Converse Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home-Mansfield.
Ever was born on August 24, 1952, to Norris and Ruby Goodman in Mansfield, Louisiana and she passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, November 10, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Burr; father, Norris Goodman; mother, Ruby Procell Deason; brothers, Winfred Goodman, and Bo Goodman; and sister, Shirley Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Chris Burr and wife, Jennifer, and Brad Burr and wife, Jamie; sisters, Dolly Welborn and Eurma Meshell; brother, Walter Bell (Francis); sister-in-law, Josie Goodman; stepfather, Bill Deason; grandchildren, Shelby Fullerton and husband, Shane, Emily Burr, Andri Burr, Cameron Burr, and Leyton Burr; great-grandchildren, Thaddeus Fullerton, and Adeline Fullerton; and fur-grand, Murphy.
Honoring Ever as pallbearers will be Wayne Burr, JR Burr, Shane Fullerton, Lynn Youngblood, Curtis Bryan, and Mike Tuck. Honorary pallbearer will be W.C. Ramie.
