Aunt Dora will be remembered for her Christian love of family, friends, animals, and country. She was a hard worker and known by so many patrons of the downtown Krispy Kreme, where she worked for years.
Going to her house was always a treat for a child, for we knew she would have fresh doughnuts for us, and a big hug, to boot. Over the years, I remember Aunt Dora sending numerous cards of encouragement to the sick, an art form lost in today's society, and something we could all take a life lesson from. We can all rejoice knowing she is in the arms of Jesus!
