Miss you Momma Grace! Gone but not forgotten!

God has chosen another beautiful rose from His garden. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her. The community will miss that beautiful smile, loving heart and spirit filled woman of God. I thank God for her friendship and love. Ruby was a jewel and my friend whom I loved dearly.

I am so saddened by the news of Ruby Grace passing away. Her son Roman coached for me on my football staff and became a dear friend and brother. "Momma Grace" as I called her was undoubtably one of the sweetest people I have ever known. My friendship with her, Roman, and their entire family will never be forgotten and will leave an everlasting impact on my life. I will never forget being the only "white person" at a Grace family reunion and the love I felt by her and everyone there. Momma Grace never let "color" get in the way of loving someone and caring for them. She was so special. Heaven just truly gained another angel. Roman, I love you my brother, and my prayers are with you and the family during this difficult time. May God bless!

No words can express the sorrow of losing such a wonderful loving friend. Although my heart breaks for the loss, it also rejoices to know Ms Ruby is most definitely with her Lord and Savior. May God send comforting Angles to each of you.

My Twin - as she called me- is the sweetest person I have ever known. Aunt Ruby- your effervescent smile, comforting hugs and genuineness will be missed by many!! We will learn to count it all joy- as time goes by. For now- we will rejoice for the end of your pain and the knowledge that so many of us have a true angel in heaven to guide and cover us! I am saddened as my friend Runu has passed though this life. I will miss her.
She was my friend and I love her. she made a mark in my life that will be with me for the rest of mine. she was a kind patient lady that took the time to explain things to me. I will forever keep her in my heart

My heart breaks for the family's loss, yet it also rejoices for heaven's gain. Miss Ruby Grace was a wonderful lady in so many ways. She was my very first boss, at Olan Mills Studios and Biloxi Mississippi, when I was only 16 years old. For a little over 40 years I have known her. Never once did I see her without a smile, no matter how she felt physically. She always had the best hugs at just the right time. I will forever remember her telling me and I quote, "Always love others more than you love yourself". I suppose that's the reason she always said I love you more when parting ways with family and friends. I pray each and every one will let their beautiful memories of Miss Ruby flood their hearts with joy through this sad time. And I look forward to the day I walk through Heaven's Gates and have Miss Ruby meet me with one of her hugs.
