Mrs. Ruby Lee Graham, daughter of the late Jessie and Celie McCray Anderson, was born March 22, 1931 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. On Monday, August 12, 2024, She entered into eternal rest at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.
Mrs. Ruby was educated in the Public Schools of Florence County. She was employed with Trayco Plumbing Company for many years.
Mrs. Ruby was a faithful member of Wayside Chapel Baptist Church, where she received Christ as his Personal Savior and sang in the choir for many years.
Mrs. Ruby was married to the late Jasper Graham Sr. for over fifty years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ruby was preceded in death by her eight sisters, Dorothea Anderson, Fannie Anderson, Rosa Black, Lillie James, Janie Muldrow, Lillian Scott, Argie Thomas and Pearline Hines; and five brothers, Frank Anderson, Jessie Anderson, Richard Anderson, Robert Anderson, and Sam Anderson.
Loved ones who will cherish her precious memories forever are her children; four daughters, Joyce Dobson, Edith (Frank) Briggs both of Florence, South Carolina; Ellaphine (Gregory) Blanchard of Brooklyn, New York and Margie Davis of Patterson, New Jersey; one son, Apostle Jasper (Evangelist Cassandra) Graham Jr. of Salters, South Carolina; one stepdaughter, Mary Simon of Florence, South Carolina; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sallie Mae (Robert) Brooks, Dorothy Jackson and Mary Louise Anderson all of Florence, South Carolina; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
