Ruby Miller Gray

Ruby Miller Gray native of Denham Springs born September 22, 1919, she passed away at her home on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 94. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a lifelong homemaker, an avid quilter in her earlier years, loved her gardening and was a great cook. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation on Wednesday will resume at 1:00pm. Dr. David Womack and Carrol Jordan will conduct funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 3:00pm. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Gray, her parents Walter Baxter and Augusta Tucker Miller, her infant son, Douglas Marvin, great granddaughter Jessica Felder, her son-in-law Bobby J. Vidrine, daughter-in-law, Lana Gray, five brothers, Boyd, Leroy, Guy, Ray and Walter Miller, sisters, Annie Fugler, Mildred Bankston, Eunice Underwood, Rita Mae Minton and Joyce Crampton. Survived by two daughters, Brenda G. Felder and husband Leslie, Margie G. Vidrine and a son David M. Gray and wife Debbie, also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. Also survived by her two sisters, Ferne M Underwood of Denham Springs and Yvonne "Tot" Hatchel of Young Harris, GA. She will be missed by all who knew her and especially her family.
