Ruby Odessa Green

Ruby Green, age 105, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Sunday, September 29, 2024 in Farwell, Texas. She was born June 6, 1919 in Hale County, Texas to Tom L. and Callie Mae (Shelton) Smith. She married L.A. Green in Muleshoe on May 12, 1937.
Ruby was a member of several organizations. She joined the Rebekah Lodge #114 in 1945, Order of Eastern Star in 1956 and Jennslippers in 1987. Ruby made her famous pies for the Jr. Livestock Show for many years. She was always quilting and loved hand work of all kinds. Ruby was also very active at the Muleshoe Senior Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, L.A.; her son, Tommy Green; her daughter, Bertha Stockman; two sisters, Marie Dickinson and Audeen Murrah; a brother, Joe Smith; a granddaughter, Trista Green; and a daughter-in-law, June Green..
Ruby is survived by her two sons, Crispin Green of Muleshoe, Texas and Charles Green and his wife, Gale of Midland, Texas; her daughter, Norene Pearson and her husband, J.C. of Muleshoe, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Felicia Green of Muleshoe, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
