**In Loving Memory of Ruby Ann Hernandez**
*July 10, 1975 – May 16, 2025*
Ruby Ann Hernandez, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, was born on July 10, 1975, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Linda and Joe Hernandez. From her early days, Ruby radiated a vibrant spirit that touched the lives of everyone she encountered. A proud graduate of Albuquerque High, she embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm and warmth that will forever be remembered.
Ruby savored every moment, finding joy in the simplicity of life’s pleasures. Whether it was cruising through the streets of Albuquerque, riding motorcycles, or attending car shows, she shared her passions with those closest to her. However, nothing lit up her heart more than bringing her family together. Ruby was the heartbeat of her home, where gatherings overflowed with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Her doors were always open, as was her heart, ready to welcome family and friends alike.
Her greatest love story was with David Lopez, with whom she raised five beautiful children: Matthew, Angelo, Miranda, Nathan, and Jeremy. Each moment spent with them filled her with pride and joy. Her children were her world, and she poured her boundless love into ensuring they felt cherished and valued.
Ruby is preceded in death by her beloved father, Joe Hernandez; her dear sister, Rosemary; and her cherished grandsons, Matthew and Gabriel Lopez. They will be waiting for her in a place filled with peace and love.
Left to honor her memory are her devoted mother, Linda Hernandez; her loving siblings, Antonio, Georgia, and Joe; her cherished children Matthew, Angelo, Miranda, Nathan, and Jeremy, who will carry forward her legacy of love and strength; and her treasured grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life.
Ruby’s warmth, resilience, and unwavering love leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit and the love she fostered will continue to shine brightly in our lives.
A viewing to honor Ruby's memory will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Trujillo Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM at San Jose Church, followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
