Ruby House

Ruby House passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the age of 98. A resident of Caledonia, Michigan, she was born on August 8, 1926, in Alto, Michigan to Reed and Reta Cooper.
Ruby was an employee at General Motors for many years. She had a love for knitting, reading, and coloring. She found great joy in her faith and was a cherished member of her church community. Ruby cherished traveling, particularly to the sunny states of Florida and California, where she created lasting memories with her loved ones.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Dale Kietzman; grandchildren, Matt (Jennifer) Kietzman and Melissa Kietzman; great-grandchildren, Lawton, Reed, Macy, Kasandra (Troy), and Kourtny. Ruby also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Dorothy, Arlene, and Marlene; sister-in-law, Pat Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Lawrence Wilberts and Joe House, as well as her cherished daughter, Barbara Kietzman.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave, Kentwood, MI on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, and again on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow on Monday starting at 11:00 am. A reception will immediately follow at the funeral home. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
