Broderick Wayne Woodard, Jr., 32 passed away suddenly February 08, 2013. He was born September 30, 1980 in Wilmington, DE to Frances and Broderick W. Woodard, Sr. He received his early education in the Brandywine School District, graduating from Brandywine High School in 1998. Upon his graduation, he then attended Delaware Technical Community College from 1998-1999, where he acquired Business Accounting Skills. Most recently in November 2012, he completed training at Dawn Career Institute, and he became a Certified Clinical Medical Assitant by the National Health Career Association. He did volunteer work as Health Screener for Coventy Healthcare and the National Kidney Foundation. Also, he currently was a volunteer at Wilmington Hospital as a Patient Escort. "Gotti" as he was affectionately called by family and friends, knew how to make you laugh and put a smile on your face. He loved spending time with his daughter, and enjoyed a good game of pool. He was a very hard worker and a go-getter, never allowing life's many road blocks stop him from achieving his goals. He was a beloved father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, and friend. He was such a loving, loyal, genuine, warm and down-to-earth guy who will truly be missed, but never forgotten. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter La'Shyaine Woodard, stepdaughter; Dez'taine Savage, his sister Lateaya Woodard, his parents Frances and Broderick W. Woodard, Sr., his grandmother, Betty Burley, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral 10:30am Saturday, February 23, 2013 at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1402 N.
