Ruby June Jackson

Ruby June Jackson, 84, of Rossville went to be with The Lord on March 26, 2025 in the comfort of her home. Born and raised in Rossville, Mrs. Ruby also spent her entire life living in the Rossville area. She loved arts and crafts, making flower arrrangements and gardening were her favorites. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, was employed with Tools and Treasures, Cherokee Liquidation, and eventually retired from Dollar General.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Grady Jackson; parents Alfred & Annie Thomason; daughter Lisa Blankenship, sister Dorothy Ramsey, brothers Carl & James "Buddy" Thomason.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Danny) Harper; grandchildren Tiffany (Buddy) Parker, Amber (Curtis) Duncan, Jacob Blankenship; great-grandchildren Caleb, Austin, Brinley Harper, Kelsey Duncan. Hannah, Hailey, Gracie, Hope Parker; great great grandchildren Kane, Mason, Andrew, Haydon, Holdon, Ashtin, Vaeda, Ellie, John, and Etta. Also surviving are numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday March 29, 2025 in the parlor of the funeral home, and before the service on Sunday. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 30, 2025 in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Garland Touchstone officiating. A burial will be held at Calvary Gardens & Mausoleum in Ft. Oglethorpe
