Donald W. Enlow, 79, passed away at 7:15 PM Thursday, July 22, 2010 in St. Mary's Hospital. Memorial Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Bricker. The family requests casual attire. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to the family. Donald was born on July 19, 1931 in Vandalia, IL the son of John and Della (Jay) Enlow. He served his country in the US Army from 1952 to 1954, after the service he worked for Rath Packing Company in Decatur from 1954 to 1966. He then went on to work for Caterpillar for 30 years retiring in 1989. During retirement he worked for C &B Fence Company with his son-in-law Chuck. He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and camper. He married Sandra L. Davis on February 12, 1956 in Decatur. He will be greatly missed by all his family and his spoiled cat, Cloe. Donald is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Shelby Stiver and Tammy (Chuck) Bronson; grandsons, Aaron Bronson and Zachary Bronson; granddaughter, Lorena (Rob) Kirkland; great-grandson, Austyn Kirkland; great-granddaughter, Reagyn Kirkland all of Decatur; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He was reunited in Heaven with his mother and father, many relatives and friends. The family wishes to say a special thank you to Dr. Rademacher, Dr. Arnold, Helen Kenedy, and Karen and Michelle from Intensive Care at St. Mary's Hospital. The family of Donald W. Enlow is being served by Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Center honored provider of Veterans Funeral Care, 2801 N. Monroe Street, Decatur, IL.
