Ruby Kinder

Ruby Dean (Glidewell) Kinder, born February 4, 1931 and departed this earth on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in Graham, Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, S.E. Kinder, her loving parents, Fred and Ruby Glidewell, three brothers, and one sister-in-law and great grandson.

Ruby is survived by her four children, Debbie Newman and husband, Vernon, David Kinder and wife, Carla, Kevin Kinder and wife, Neysa and Sammy Kinder and wife, Debra, grandchildren, Cody Conner and wife, Teresa, Tammy Miller and husband Vern, Eric Kinder, Erin Kinder, Shalane Kinder, great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Conner and Kaycee Conner, Braxton Kinder and Chloe Miller, and several nieces and nephews.

Ruby was a wonderful wife and mother, as well as a career bookkeeper for the John Deere Company, for over 20 years, Garner Pipe for many years, before retiring from there. After her retirement, Ruby enjoyed her later years on the ranch watching their cattle, and was particularly fond taking care of her pet mule, Baby.

Funeral will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Bryson. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
