Ruby Laidler

Laidler, Ruby of Flushing, age 89, died Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Courtyard Manor in Swartz Creek. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Christiansen will officiate. Private burial will be at Shrock Cemetery in Greentown, Indiana. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home until the time of the service at 1 p.m.
Ruby was born in Goshen, Indiana, the daughter of Jonas and Amanda (Miller) Stutzman. She was a faithful member of Trinity Assembly of God, where she sang in the choir. Ruby loved cooking, sewing and writing poetry.
Ruby is survived by her children, Karla Martin, Chuck Martin, Gail and husband Gary Guenther; grandchildren, Bianca Hatfield, Tisa Harbert, Gabriel Guenther, Jacob Guenther; great-grandchildren, Marissa Kinney, Kaille Gustafson; and siblings, Gloria and Ron Harper, and Fannie Birky.
