MAYSVILLE — Maysville- Ruby Jane Langfels Lang, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at Ohio Valley Manor, Ripley, Ohio.
Mrs. Lang was born Jan. 5, 1932, in Paris, Ky., to the late Michael Lawrence and Georgia Glover Langfels. She was a graduate of Paris High School in 1950, a member of St. Patrick Church in Maysville for over 50 years, and mother of 10.
Survivors include her children, Kathy (Roger) Botkins, David (Kathleen Henke) Lang, Debbie Lang Mason, Janie (Phillip Timothy) Burton, Paul (Krista Kinney) Lang, Tom (Teresa Kiser) Lang, John Lang, Steve (Frances Jones) Lang, Peggy (Brian) Esham; sisters, Betty Bolin, Sue Royse, Mary Eva Daff; brothers, Billy Langfels, Mike (Marlene) Langfels, and John (Susan) Langfels; 20 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Eugene Lang; a son, Peter Lang; sisters, Alice Fay Atchison and Wilma Ann Houp; brothers-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Atchison, E.J. Bolin, Homer Royse, Harold Daff; sister-in-law, Katherine Langfels; and son-in-law, Mike Mason.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at St. Patrick Church with Rev. Augustine Aidoo as Celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Patrick Church general fund or for masses to be said in Ruby's memory.
