Ruby Leffew Obituary
Her legacy is her love for Jesus that she shared with her friends and family and being a prayer warrior for anyone who asked her to pray for them.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herlie Leffew, son, Donnie (Angie) Leffew, daughters, Nancy (Ray) Cox and Julie Leffew (Thomas Harrow), six grandchildren, Jessica Cox, Cody (Becka) Leffew, Brittani Leffew, Carrie Brown, Parker Leffew, Devan Cox, eleven great grandchildren, sisters, Shirley Smartt, Daisy (Bob) Davis, Barbara (Billy) Norris and several nieces and nephews.
Cookie's family asks anyone who is in attendance on Tuesday if they could wear purple to honor their incredible mother and her love for all things purple.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025. Services will be held at Calvary Independent Baptist Church (9111 Lovell Road, Soddy Daisy) on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Kelley presiding. Burial will follow at Lakewood East Cemetery.
