Ruby Manuel

EUNICE-On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, the family of Ruby Nell Demoruelle Manuel announces her passing at Prompt Succor Nursing Home at the age of 98. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Matthew Barzare, Celebrant.
Ruby was a kind and loving lady who loved her family and was loved by many. Along with being a homemaker, an avid gardener, a piano teacher, and working int the family business, Ruby was active in the St. Anthony of Padua Church parish, as well as community organizations.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Gail Barzare (David) and Carla Crisler (John); daughter-in-law, Rebecca Manuel; grandchildren, Melissa Burleigh (Patrick), Marla Favalaro (Michael), Marcelite Miller (Scott), Sara Rue (Floyd), Megan Daigle (Toby), Adam Barzare (Crystal), Rebecca Rue (Sam), Father Matthew Barzare, Andrew Crisler (Amanda), Mia Crisler, and Max Crisler; great grandchildren, Jennifer, Patrick, Anne Claire, Mary Grace, and Theresa Burleigh, Aaron, Ellen, and Charles Favalaro, Mairin Miller, Owen, Maggie, Abram, and Eli Rue, Noah, Nicholas, and Gianna Daigle, Hudson, Hadley, and Hayes Barzare, and Simon and Oliver Crisler; sister, Mattie Buller; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Edlee Manuel, Sr.; her son, Edlee Manuel, Jr.; her parents, Eloi and Marie Vidrine Demoruelle; her grandson, Kevin Barzare; great-granddaughter, Gracie Claire Daigle; brothers, Roderic, L.P., and Owen Demoruelle.
At the request of the family, masks are encouraged.
