Ruby Geneva Mars

Ruby Geneva Mars, age 95 of Lake City passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at her home. She enjoyed going to church when she was able. She was a former owner of a beauty shop in Oak Ridge several years ago. She and her husband enjoyed the social life of Oak Ridge in the 40's & 50's. She was runner-up in Miss Tennessee pageant several years ago and was chosen by the John Robert Powers Modeling Agency of New York to model for them but turned them down to travel with her husband. She had a good sense of humor and enjoyed life and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W.
