Ruby Church Marsh, 91, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2023. She was born in Halifax County, VA on December 10, 1932 to the late Nettie Maude Wyatt Church and the late Troy Wilson Church. She is also predeceased by her loving husband of many years Mr. Clyde Franklin Marsh Sr.
Ruby was of the Christian faith and was a member of Mill Creek Community Church.
Ruby is survived by three daughters; Cheryl Williams (Tommy) of Sanford, NC, Denise Dawson and Cindi Hammell both of
Chatham, VA; one son; Frankie Marsh (Barbara); one sister; Christine Baker (Bob) of
Panama City, FL; nine grandchildren; Travis Grindle (Brandy), Christopher Dawson (Nichole), Benjamin Dawson (Megan), Tim Hammell Jr. (Emily), Joseph Hammell (Jennifer), Kip Hammell (Nicole), Kevin Hammell (Samantha), Lindsy Marsh (Eric), and Joseph Marsh (Sarah); Eleven great grandchildren; Aiden, Emory, Anastasia, Piper, Andrew, Will, Leland, Wesley, Anderson, Mason, and Laiken; and her special caregivers; Denise and Faye.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby was predeceased by a granddaughter; Blair Marsh; and son-in-law; Randy Dawson.

Chatham, VA 24531.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2:00pm at Mill Creek Community Church Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends at other times at the residence.
