Ruby Mathis Obituary
A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 2:30 P.M. at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, 5325 Cadiz Road, Hopkinsville, KY 42240. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born August 15, 1929 in Stewart County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Jefferson Mathis and the late Ruby Ester Hail Mathis. Miss Mathis was a member of Graymere Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sister, Dorcas (Lewis) Faulkner of Round Rock, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jewel Mathis Whitlatch; and brother, Johnnie Jefferson Mathis, Jr.
