Ruby Elizabeth Morgret, age 82 of Prattville passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at her home surrounded and under the care of her children, Roger, Debbie, George, Ralph, brother, Duane and Hospice of Lenawee. She was born on December 2, 1931 in Prattville, Michigan to James E. and Ruth E. (Butcher) Fether. On May 19, 1951, she was united in marriage to Lloyd L. Morgret, Jr. in Angola, Indiana. From this union, they were blessed with a son, Roger and daughter, Deborah. Ruby began her employment in 1950 at Bohn Aluminum in Adrian where she met her husband of 41 years, retiring in 2004 She was a multi term national delegate for Local 43 MESA/AFL-CIO, was a life time member of the Eagles, the American Legion, Hudson V.F.W. Auxiliary and Moose Lodge. Ruby loved camping and yachting at Devils Lake with her husband Lloyd and many special friends, mushroom hunting and caring for her little buddy Lulu. She was a wonderful and loving mother and a super grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her children, Roger (Connie) Morgret of Hudson, MI, Deborah Rule and her special friend, Richard Abraham of Adrian, MI, step-sons, George (Roxie) Morgret and Ralph (Roxanne) Morgret, both of Prattville, MI and step-daughter Lloydette (Fred) Willnow of Hamilton, AL; 27 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and several great-great- grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd, grandson, Adam Jay Forsyth, step-son, Edward Morgret, step-daughter, Vonnie Quinn, sister, Norma Hadley and brothers, Robert and Donald Fether. Funeral Services for Ruby will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Cemetery in Prattville. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions in memory of Ruby may be made to Hospice of Lenawee. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
